Article about the Newsweek Quran Story
Quran more than a book for Muslims
The article points out that in the West we don't have anything that is comparable to desecrating the Quran. I beg to differ... what exactly was 9/11? Just in case: that's a rhetorical question - destroying life, liberty and property are comparable to desecrating the Quran. The amount of outrage Americans felt at the destruction of the World Trade Center and the lives of the people in it, is exactly comparable to the amount of outrage that is felt about the desecration of the Quran.
